Space design has been popular for several seasons now. This is a whole art - individual and unique. The main advantage of manicure in the space style is its versatility. Due to the interweaving of colors, this nail art is perfect for any look. At first glance, it may seem to you that this is a rather complex design and only a professional can do it, but today we will try to prove to you that every girl can easily do a space manicure. All you need is desire, inspiration and a few polishes from your collection. Today we will tell you in detail how to place starry distances on your nails at home. Space manicure has many options. You can depict the Milky Way, a parade of planets, the Andromeda nebula or something else - the choice is yours.

To create a design in a space style, we will need a base coat for natural nails, and we will also need a dark polish (it should be a polish in dark blue or dark purple tones). For example, we chose a polish from the Color Club #925 collection. The second polish we chose was the Ruby Wing brand called Festival. Also Ruby Wing brand polish - Fate. And the last polish is also from Ruby Wing – Fresh Linen. Also in our work we will use a design brush with a thin tail, we chose No. 2 of the RuNail brand and a sponge, you can just take a small piece from an ordinary household sponge.

Before applying the base coat, you need to disinfect your nails; for this, it is best to use a special nail disinfectant. We use Entity brand disinfectant, as it degreases the nail plate very well without drying it out. Wipe each nail very thoroughly. Next, apply a base coat to all your nails depending on your nail type. Accordingly, if your nails are uneven, use a base with a nail straightening function. Also for peeling nails. Even if you have good nails, it is still necessary to use a varnish base, as it protects the nails from the penetration of coloring pigments and improves the adhesion of the natural nail to the artificial coating.

After the base coat has dried, the next thing you need to do is coat your nails with the base shade of polish in two coats. You can choose the color to your taste, but we would advise you to stick to blue, purple, black, or dark gray colors. So, apply polish to all nails. Our varnish is an inky, dark blue shade.

Before applying the next coat of varnish we will do a little preparation. Let's cut our sponge into several small pieces, since we will be applying several different colors of varnish. During the design process, we also decided to add the Color Club brand color #918, which is a light gray color. You can also use lighter shades of blue and cyan. Next, take a file or piece of foil. Place a drop of gray color on it and then, using a sponge and tweezers, be sure to use the sharp edge of the sponge in order to pick up a little varnish. Saturate the sponge with varnish and remove a little excess onto foil or a file. Place randomly small colored spots on the nails on the dried polish. Use small spots so that you can add other colors to your nails and not cover up the main color of the polish.

Using pastel pink or lilac nail polish like ours, also place a drop and gently soak the sponge in it. Remove the excess onto a file and randomly, without completely covering the entire color of the base varnish, paint small areas of color on the nail. You can go slightly beyond the previous shade.

In the same way, apply white or, like ours, light varnish with pearl. And don’t forget the starry scattering on your nails; for this we use glitter polish. Please note that I will not apply glitter completely to the entire nail, since ours are very dense. It will also be a chaotic application. If your glitter is not so dense, you can basically apply it to the entire coating. Apply glitter directly with a brush from the bottle.

And in order to more realistically convey all the colors of the starry sky, we will draw small stars on our coating using the same light varnish and a thin brush for nail design. To make your design look fuller, deeper, and last as long as possible, be sure to top it off with a top coat, such as the Color Club brand, which brings out the brightness of the polish colors very well.

As you can see, everything is not so complicated. Mastering space manicure at home is a very exciting and creative process. You can safely fantasize, try different options on your nails and not adhere to any framework.
