You can replace hearts with sponge kisses or funny emoticons, as in messengers, meaning a kiss.

You can write the traditional “I Love You” and let your evening companion look at it on your nails without saying it out loud. Inscriptions like “together forever”, “always yours”, “be mine”, “my sweety” are also very popular. You can use “children’s” inscriptions “Masha + Sasha = love” or just initials. It looks fun and playful, with humor, but very appropriate for Valentine's Day.

Manicure with hearts for Valentine's Day

Hearts can be large, covering the entire nail and all fingers. Or they can appear in the form of a French manicure, somewhere on the side, miniature in the center, with an ombre pattern, multi-colored, plain or golden. Nude red manicure with hearts.

The simpler the better sometimes. Here, our beloved nude was made festive with one red nail with glitter and small neat hearts on all other nail plates. Stylish, though. Very much so, don’t you agree? And yes, you can not only draw hearts, but also attach small stickers or rhinestones for nails. Customize this option to suit you.

Knitted “sweater” manicure with hearts for Valentine’s Day.

Do you know that “sweater” manicure is still in trend? Then here’s a festive, “Valentine’s” version for you. Basically, it looks nice. If desired, the hearts can be made flatter, or highlighted in a different color, sprinkled with glitter, added stones and other little things. Experiment. But that’s good too) Don’t overdo it.

And another idea taken from the channel of YouTube blogger Masha Create - a cashmere sweater on nails using TNL Plush polish with bristles. Cool, follow her and you will find more than one interesting idea, whether you are looking for a manicure for Valentine’s or for any other holiday.

Manicure “hearts in the corners”.

We at the editorial office called this manicure for Valentine’s Day “hiding hearts.” They seem to peek out from behind the edge of the nail. It couldn’t be simpler; even a girl who considers herself Edward Scissorhands can pull off this nail art. A way out if you haven’t had time to make an appointment with a specialist...

Manicure with small blue hearts.

Need even more hearts? Here's a real heartbreaker for you! And even in a color that is not quite traditional for Valentine’s Day – blue. Very cute, girly, gentle and stylish. A simple dress in pastel shades and you are on top during a romantic date! The photo shows stickers, but you can draw hearts by hand, or use a toothpick and tweezers to stretch drops of blue varnish into hearts. Inspiration to you!!!!

Valentine's manicure with red and black hearts.

In general, nude in itself looks beautiful on well-groomed nails, and if you add small accents to it, it turns out stunningly beautiful. A manicure of the type shown in the photo can be casual or festive, sweet and romantic, contrasting or provocative. It all depends on the colors and sizes of hearts you choose. For Valentine's Day, of course, curb your ambitions and creativity, and choose something simpler, sweeter and more vanilla.

French manicure with hearts.

We found this photo using the popular tags #valentinenails and #heartnails before February 14th. In theory, this option is somewhat reminiscent of the peeking hearts that we told you about above. But still, it looks completely different if it is done like this in the form of a French manicure (by the way, in the photo there are so-called fake nails, that is, a set of ready-made hand-painted nails that can only be glued with special glue). We think it’s a cool idea, we hope this nail art for Valentine’s Day will lift your spirits. Oh, and we saw the same one, only with multi-colored hearts (cute).

IG: @doobysnails

Manicure design with hearts, bows and dots.

This is also a cool combination that more than one thousand users have saved to their boards on Pinterest alone! A considerable number of girls consider it an excellent option for Valentine's Day. Maybe because it’s done at least 15 minutes before release with regular varnishes, you don’t even need to make an appointment with a specialist? We should try... remember those times when we had never even heard of gel polishes. However, a nude manicure with hearts, bows and dots looks a little retro and very fashionable.

Red manicure with hearts on a white background.

Simple and glamorous, and unobtrusively hinting that it’s time to invite your beloved on a romantic date somewhere in an expensive spa hotel. This cute heart is impossible not to notice. You can do this manicure for February 14 in any color, experiments are welcome!

Pink and silver manicure with stripes and hearts.

Probably, it is this one that has the greatest number of repetitions - we have seen similar nail art in blue and purple colors, with silver or gold plated, with stones and glitter. Which of them was the first is no longer clear. The secret of his popularity? Marine style, adapted to winter conditions, will not leave anyone indifferent!

Nail design with sliders

The simplest design option is to use thematic sliders with ready-made drawings - these are not difficult to find now. They most often have a transparent or white base, so it is best to use them on a white surface: this way, not a single color will be distorted, and the white base will add brightness to the design. Here are two examples of using sliders for Valentine's Day manicures.

Manicure for Valentine's Day

Here I used a slider design from Bluesea: it is very easy to use and suitable for both regular polishes and gel polishes. The application technique is as follows:

  • A coating is applied to the prepared nails: I used Entity White Light gel polish - a translucent white color without shimmer or glitter. It had to be applied in 4 layers to get a dense and almost opaque color.
  • Next, a fragment is cut from the slider to the size of the nail. The protective film is removed.
  • Using tweezers, lower the drawing into warm water for 10-20 seconds.
  • Blot the slider with a napkin so that no water remains on it.
  • Gently smooth the design along the contour of the nail. I use a special rubber hoof for this - very convenient! The sliders are very durable; none of them have broken on me.
  • Apply the final top coat and dry it in a lamp.
  • This technique can be seen in my short video using the example of the second nail design with sliders for February 14th.

Manicure with the word LOVE in black, white and pink colors.

It’s no longer so minimalistic, modern and even, despite all the pastel shades, bright. There are retro stripes, hearts, a pink tint, and the inscription Love. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail.

Manicure with red kisses.

What I see is what I sing – a familiar expression? In the case of this manicurist, it turns out a little differently: what I see is what I get inspired by. Leopard print manicure for Valentine's.

Leopard print and kisses are an unstoppable force together. Such eye-catching nail art can only be done if your overall look is simple. A black dress or colored one, but plain, without a deep neckline and sequins along the entire length. If you overdo it with brightness in your image, this manicure will give you vulgarity. Be careful, we warned you)

Manicure with envelopes.

Retro manicure: few people send regular letters by mail today. This design will bring out your romantic nature, nostalgic for the times when “big brother didn’t keep an eye on us” and we received love letters in our hands, not in a personal message.

Red manicure: manicure for Valentine's Day and more

And here we will show you a red manicure for February 14: glossy and matte, on short and long nails, minimalist and with bright decorations. We look at the photos and save the best ideas for ourselves. Moreover, such nail art is suitable even for every day.

Red matte manicure.

The king among red manicures today are designs with a matte finish. The most interesting thing about this nail art is the contrasting textures. For example, all nails are matte, one on each hand - covered with gel polish with sparkles or sprinkled with glitter. Play with textures and be on trend!

Frosted hearts and negative space.

Negative Space is when, in addition to colored gel polish, there are nude areas on the nail plate, those in which your nail is visible. In a burgundy shade of red, this manicure with hearts looks great. At least shoot for a glossy cover!

Red lace manicure

Being a manicurist is a very difficult task. You have to constantly monitor new products, trends, and fashion trends abroad. However, there are designs that are always relevant. Among these options is lace nail art. It always looks sophisticated and feminine, suitable for all outfits and events. And a red lace manicure looks doubly impressive, we guarantee.

24.Coral “water” manicure.

Water marble is the name given to today’s popular technique of mixing shades of varnish on water. You get these nice drawings that really look like marble. You can mix any shades - in the same color scheme or contrasting ones. Manicure for St. Valentine's Day Valentine's, of course, is preferable to do in red and pink tones.

The highlight of this nail art is the combination of a simple coating and a golden chain detail with a pendant. The decoration does not look pretentious, but, on the contrary, makes this manicure for Valentine’s Day evening, elegant.

Long pink stilettos for Valentine's Day.

Two trends come together here - long stiletto nails in a pink shade, and a mirror rub, thanks to which the result is fashionable chrome nails. As for the stones: many consider them excessive, overkill and in bad taste, while others boldly wear them, regardless of the opinions of their opponents. Relax and have fun. If you like stones, wear more. No – skip the glitter, it won’t make you less stylish.

Pink manicure with gold glitter hearts.

We can't stop admiring this design! With soft pink and white shades, golden sparkles no longer look “expensive and rich”, but, on the contrary, become a truly beautiful accent that complements your outfit. And yes, by the way, in the photo there is a thermovarnish that changes color depending on the temperature.

Black manicure with hearts and gold.

It would seem that incompatible things were combined - hearts, gothic black, glamorous gilding, and even nautical stripes. But it turned out worthy. Very much, praise to the master! A classic black dress or a dress with sequins, Hollywood curls, and expensive accessories will go well with a celebrity-inspired look. To be so chic, to be so chic!

Manicure with a heartbeat.

Option number 1: classic red

Red is the traditional color for February 14th. Red dresses, bright red fabric prints, red lips and, of course, red nails. In general, the classic scarlet color has already become the base color for every day manicure. Like a French jacket, nude colors, white or black, it suits any style of clothing and any situation. And on Valentine's Day, red nail polish simply breaks popularity records!

Manicure ideas for Valentine's Day

The easiest way is to paint your nails completely red - and there is no need to “reinvent the wheel.” But you can come up with something more interesting and unusual. A “moon” manicure with holes that are not covered with color looks neat, restrained and elegant. These same holes can be decorated in the shape of hearts using a thin brush - an ideal variation for Valentine's Day.

You can play with fashionable shades of red 2020, and use bright scarlet (Flame Scarlet shade according to the Pantone Color Institute), a color with an orange undertone (Orange Peel), a more restrained classic color of red pepper (Chili Pepper) or dark burgundy (Biking Red ). Use varnishes and gel polishes interspersed with sparkles and glitter, or with cat-eye tints - you can really let yourself shine for the holiday!
