The easiest option for beginners

Transparent packaging film for flowers is considered a universal material and is suitable for any bouquet for any occasion. Many housewives have learned to dry the film and re-wrap flowers in it.

You can pack both a whole complex bouquet and a single flower in film. The film is placed at an angle, the flowers are placed on the corner, after which the bouquet is wrapped around the film, tightened with a cord or tourniquet.

And again, another video, which is very detailed, so you can definitely handle it. In addition, you will also learn how to make a bag to decorate such a craft.

And for those who don’t want to watch or maybe the Internet speed is bad, read these step-by-step instructions and descriptions.

Original ways to decorate flowers using film

To beautifully decorate a bouquet using film, it is supplemented with some twigs or greenery. In the case when noble flowers need to be wrapped in film, they are packaged separately. Each flower is fixed on cardboard, then wrapped in thick paper, in which cuts are made and the stem is secured through them.

It is desirable that the color of the paper matches the color of the stem or flower, without standing out too much from the general background. They begin to wrap the film in small pieces around the paper, fixing it at the base of the bouquet. All separately prepared flowers are collected into one bouquet and secured with tape and a piece of film.

Methods for decorating flowers using film

To hide a large amount of decorative material, ribbons, bows, and velvety paper are used. It is important that all components are in the same color scheme.

Wildflowers also look impressive in film. For the bouquet you will need 2 meters of transparent film. It needs to be folded in opposite corners, slightly lifting the layer from below, wrap the flowers and pull them tightly at the base. The film is straightened around the bouquet so that it is positioned freely and frames the flowers.

Bouquet in the newspaper

Using a stapler, tucks and clips are made, folds and waves are formed, and they are done symmetrically and equally. The bouquet should look the same from all sides. The base or interception of the bouquet can be decorated with a bow.

In height, such a bouquet can be either partially open or maximally closed. Tulips, roses and chrysanthemums are allowed to be closed, wildflowers and daisies are allowed to be opened.

Double master class on creating a duplicate bouquet

The duplicate bouquet, as we said, can be made of fresh or artificial flowers.

The second option will be more preferable, since such “satin bouquets,” as they are called, are cheaper, more reliable and much cheaper. They can be purchased at the store or made independently using ribbons, lace and other available materials.

Made from artificial flowers

Such a bouquet will look very original. There are many such ready-made bouquets on sale, no worse than living ones, only without the enchanting aroma. But the advantages of the doubler are that it will not crumble or wither. To create such a bouquet you will need:

  • White satin lace.
  • Two bouquets of rosebuds made of light green and cream colored fabric.
  • Ribbons.
  • Nylon lace in green shades.
  • Golden beads and pearl effect.
  • Tulle in pink and blue shades.
  • Scotch.
  • Thin wire.
  • Scissors.

  1. Separate purchased flowers separately. First, fasten three roses by the stems, this will be the center of our satin composition. String beads onto wire, adding gold ribbons and satin cord. Wrap these wire blanks around the flowers.

  2. Add the remaining flowers in a circle. Also add ribbon loops and secure everything with tape.
  3. Using tulle, make a skirt on the bouquet.
  4. You need to wrap more tulle under the skirt, securing the whole thing with thread.
  5. Place a beautiful ribbon on top of the tulle wound around the stems.

Voila! Your bouquet is ready to fall into the crowd of excited girls right now and remain safe and sound!

The easiest option using kraft paper

Craft paper itself is the simplest means of packaging and goes with almost everything. There are no particular requirements for packaging bouquets in craft paper.

The easiest way to pack a bouquet is like this. Sort out the leaves and flowers and wrap the base of the bouquet with film. Cut a square of craft paper and roll it into a ball. Place flowers inside. Tie with a bright ribbon at the base of the bouquet.

Additionally, you can draw any ornament on paper, attach lace with staples, etc. Packed in kraft paper, the flowers will contrast with the gray-brown background and look in all their beauty and sophistication.

DIY candy bouquet for beginners

Any person will like such a surprise, especially girls or women. You can even just come to visit with such beauty. And the one for whom such a thing was intended will only be happy. I suggest that at the very beginning we disassemble the craft in the form of a bouquet of flowers in its simplest form.

As is probably tradition, most of us love to give roses, but I want to suggest that you first learn how to make snowdrops. They look very cute and gentle, and if suddenly you don’t know what to please your loved ones, then here’s an idea for you. It will fit perfectly if it’s spring and you really want warmth and the first flowers. It will also be a nice gift for Teacher’s or Educator’s Day, as well as for September 1st.

Moreover, you can take absolutely any box of chocolates, or a bag of sweets, etc., and put your creation on top. In general, look below and you will understand everything yourself.

We will need:

  • chocolate candies, preferably nuts (almonds or hazelnuts) in chocolate
  • a box of any chocolates, such as Raffaello or cookies
  • Floral crepe paper: green, light green and white
  • green tape
  • flexible wire
  • threads
  • scotch
  • scissors
  • yardstick
  • hot glue gun

1. In order to build 5 flowers, you will need strips: from white crepe paper 5 strips, width - 2 cm, length - 50 cm, from light green - 5 rectangles 5cmx4cm, from green - 2 strips 50 cm long, and width - 2 cm.

2. Now load the gun with the rod and wait until it is ready for use. Glue each candy, or rather the tip of the candy wrapper, onto the wire, as shown in the picture below.

Advice! If you don’t have a glue gun, you can glue the candy wrapper onto double-sided tape, but do not touch the candy.

3. From the rectangles that you made in the amount of 5 pieces, carefully frame them with your hands and make a wavy edge. Squeeze a little, as if you were making an accordion.

4. Now you need to make a deepening.

5. The flower leaves will be white, so take the white strips and get started. Using a ruler, divide into three segments, that is, at a distance of 16.5 cm. Cut. Now twist each resulting strip in this way, as shown in the photo, around its axis by 360 degrees.

6. After rolling, fold each piece in half to form a petal. Make a small indentation.

7. Thus we have come to the final stage of work. Take the wire with the candy and hide it in light green crepe paper. To prevent the paper from falling off, secure it with threads. Then apply white petals and also tie with thread.

8. The result should be something like this. Everything worked out? Well done! Move on.

9. Here’s a top view to make it more clear to you what we’re talking about.

10. Carefully trim all excess with scissors at 45 degrees.

Packing in corrugated paper

Corrugated paper looks good in bouquets and makes them elegant and special. With its help, you can make packaging for small bouquets, arrange voluminous compositions and highlight individual elements of the bouquet.

To create a bouquet with corrugated paper packaging, you should select the desired flowers and tie them in a bunch. Trim the stems and add small decorative flowers around the perimeter.

Place a square of corrugated paper on the table and place a bouquet in the center. Crimp the paper around the bouquet and tie with a beautiful ribbon. Fold the edges of the paper outward. It is allowed to connect the free edge with a stapler or tape for better fastening.

Gift from Raffaello in the form of a bouquet

Probably the most common sweets are white candies in coconut flakes. It is from them that the next composition will be made. You can hide the Rafael flowers in flowers, or you can go the other way. Buy a box of these sweets and attach bright rose inflorescences, etc. on top. Which method do you prefer? I hope you make your choice soon.

Let’s look at the first option, it will be tulips, you will see all the steps of the work a little lower in this post, and I’m showing the second super masterpiece right now in the form of open roses.

We will need:

  • Raffaello chocolate box
  • red satin ribbon
  • glue gun
  • scissors
  • ruler
  • decorative berries
  • corrugated paper
  • foil 17 cm x 13 cm
  • artificial flowers
  • artificial leaves

Stages:

1. Using your hands, scrunch the foil into a ball. Cut a strip of green corrugated paper 10.5 cm long and 3 cm wide. Then twist it in half.

2. And then fold and make a depression, as they did in the first master class with snowdrops. Place a ball in the petal.

3. Now shape it into a bud and crumple it. Glue the connection with a gun.

Next, cut out three rectangles from red paper, the size will be 3 cm x 2 cm.

4. Round each piece and also make a depression with your fingers and stretch it.

5. Glue the red petals to the green bud.

6. Now you will need nine rectangular blanks 3 cm x 5 cm. Cut an oval from each rectangle. And then make two cuts like the one shown below. Make a deepening again.

7. And glue the cuts with overlapping glue from a gun. You should get 9 beautiful petals.

8. Glue all 9 petals along the diameter of the bud, each petal should overlap the previous one by half. Cut off any excess green paper.

Now cut out green rectangles 3 cm x 5 cm. And round with scissors on one side to create a leaf shape.

9. Next, stretch each leaf with your fingers, and then cut it two or three times. Glue them to the bottom of the bud.

10. And this is what happened. Build 7-9 of these flowers. And then glue them onto artificial leaves. And then this whole composition onto a box of chocolates.

11. But first, for brightness, tie the box with a satin red ribbon.

12. The end result is this cheerful beauty made from paper roses.

Packing a bouquet in rectangles and corners

For this type of packaging, the selected paper is cut into equal squares. It is good to take paper or matte film that matches the overall tint of the colors. The film is laid out on the table, corners up with equal sides. The formed and tied bouquet is placed in the center of the squares and wrapped in paper so that the wrapper looks the same on all sides. The interception site is tied with a tourniquet and then with tape.

Unusual bouquet design options:

Corrugated roses with candies

Another masterpiece caught my eye; if in the previous version they took a foil ball as a basis and made a flower out of it, then this one will be almost the same, only the ball together will be a round piece of candy. And the buds will not be as open.

Get to work, and these pictures will help you. Nothing difficult, do everything by analogy with previous works. Well, if something is not clear, then I described this master class in more detail here.

Instructions for packing a bouquet in a floral net or organza

An excellent way to present flowers is to wrap them in mesh or organza. This bouquet looks stylish and unusual. Similar packaging methods are used by florists in flower shops and specialized salons. You can pack a complex bouquet of different types of flowers in a net.

Before creating a bouquet, the stems of the flowers are trimmed, and the flowers themselves are laid on top of each other in a spiral. Flower stems are alternated with ruscus branches and tied with ribbon.

From a roll of mesh or organza, cut three equal squares and a rectangular piece. The squares are folded in half, the corners are moved and folded in half again. You should get a rhombus with four vertex corners. The ends are fastened with staples, so 3 blanks are made.

Each blank is applied to the bouquet and wrapped with ribbon, the diverging edges are connected with staples. Using a cut out rectangle, the lower stems are closed, pinned with staples and tied with a wide ribbon. The stems that remain open are trimmed with pruning shears.

Options for packaging flowers in fabric (burlap, felt, etc.)

Burlap, linen, felt, as well as craft paper, are considered new and environmentally friendly types of bouquet packaging. Flowers in them look natural, advantageous and unusual. You can clearly see the process of using burlap as packaging in the following videos:

In principle, you need to proceed in the same way as when packing in film or sisal. A square of burlap is cut, the corners are folded diagonally, a bouquet is placed in the center, which is wrapped in corners. The junction is intercepted with ribbons or thread and decorated as desired.

Instructions for a cascading bouquet

Cascading bouquets are becoming popular for gifting in sets. To compile them, you need to purchase a box and lay any paper on the bottom. Flowers should be the same length. They are placed on the bottom of the box, laid out like a fan and tied with an elastic band. The box is closed with a lid and sent as a gift to the recipient.

Instructions for a vegetative bouquet

A bouquet that presents flowers in the most natural way is called a vegetative bouquet. Most often, such bouquets are asymmetrical, a small group of plants takes the main attention, and tall ones are placed in the distance. Plants should look as natural as possible, as they grow in nature.

Several options for packaging flowers in a box and basket

Popular arrangements in boxes and baskets are in trend now more than ever. To prepare such a bouquet yourself, you will need different tools: a mold, pruning shears, foam substance for floristry, decor and a container for water.

Bouquet in a wooden basket

From floral foam you need to cut a base smaller than the lid of the box. Soak it with moisture. Make a bedding out of film and cover the container for the composition with it. Place a sponge soaked in water on it.

Prepare the flowers by shortening their stems to the desired level. Arrange them in the sponge as desired. Decorate with additional decor.

You can also use an acrylic box. Water is poured into the bottom of the box, flowers and stems are cut to the required size. Place the flowers in a container and straighten them as desired.

How to pack a bouquet with your own hands

MK sweet bouquet of caramel on a stick and chocolate

Honestly, for some reason this composition reminds me of an autumn bouquet, probably because it comes in different colors of the rainbow. All you have to do is buy some candy canes or M&M's and arrange them by color. And then make bags and fill them with these sweets.

It’s better to take wrapping paper and put tasty balls in it, bandage it, glue it with tape, and then attach the stick, as we did in previous descriptions.

You can also use other types of candies that you like the most.

You can take an even simpler route, make a souvenir out of paper, but not like everyone else, but with a twist. You can give one flower separately to someone who is so dear to you, a great idea for March 8th. And as they say, both cheap and cheerful.

By the way, you can make such an “applique” at school or kindergarten with children, so that they can then give it to their mothers or grandmothers.

We will need:

  • cardboard template (download below and print)
  • candies in bright candy wrappers
  • double-sided colored cardboard
  • skewers
  • gouache or acrylic paint

Stages:

1. So, trace according to the template (you can also use a mold, as shown below) and cut out blanks from cardboard.

2. Afterwards, glue each skewer to the flower. Paint them with green paint in advance and dry.

3. And on the other side, stick candies, it is advisable to take the middle of a different color so that it differs from the petals.

4. Cheerful and so, well, just a creative gift made in a couple of minutes. Good luck.

5. To complete it, you can glue on more leaves from green construction paper or use corrugated paper.

Another idea:

How interesting is it to pack a flower in a pot?

Houseplants are often given as gifts for holidays instead of fresh ones. If the flowerpot in which the flower grows is unattractive, you can improve the situation by decorating it with tulle, sisal, floral film, or burlap to match the flower. You can complement the composition with plaster figurines of gnomes and insects.
