Everybody dance! Musical competitions for wedding guests - fun and interesting

“Oh, this wedding, wedding, wedding sang and danced...” It is simply impossible to imagine a banquet without songs and dances, because musical accompaniment is an important part of any celebration. In addition, it is customary to break up the long wedding feast with competitions. In this article we will look at what interesting music competitions there are for weddings.

Why do we need entertainment? The competition program is an important part of any wedding; with its help you can create a fun and relaxed atmosphere at the holiday.

Types of interesting entertainment

Typically, such entertainment is divided into individual and team. Depending on the location, there are two types of music competitions for guests and newlyweds.

  • Table parties - they are held without leaving the table. The purpose of such competitions is to diversify the feast, take a break between toasts, make guests smile and get to know each other.
  • Competitions in the hall. They are distinguished by a significant degree of activity. As a rule, for such competitions you need not just to sing some kind of melody, but also to dance or perform some other action to the music.

Based on the degree of involvement, the following can be distinguished.

  • Competitions for everyone. Such competitions should dominate the program, because to create the right atmosphere at a wedding, it is necessary that no one gets bored or feels deprived of attention. Monitoring this is one of the responsibilities of the leader. For this reason, the competition program is always drawn up taking into account the age and interests of those invited.
  • Competitions for the bride and groom. Be sure to include a couple of competitions in the program for the main heroes of the occasion.
  • Competitions for witnesses , as well as for father-in-law/mother-in-law/father-in-law. At every wedding there are separate categories of guests who are usually distinguished from others. Usually this is a friend of the groom and a friend of the bride, as well as the parents of the newlyweds. As a rule, the toastmaster includes one competition in the program specifically for them.

Important! Competitions at a wedding should be varied. Alternate intellectual and entertaining, table and active competitions.

Cool and funny singing competitions

Unfortunately, not everyone can sing. This idea should be taken into account. Therefore, all competitions should not be aimed at who has the best voice, but rather at presentation and manner of performance.

The best thing is the karaoke competition. By the way, the big advantage of song competitions is the ability to hold them right at the table.

If you want to make not just entertainment, but a truly funny game, then turn to the following options:

  1. Choose 5 people from the audience who are the most active and mobile throughout the evening. Take them to a room and ask them to dress up as famous celebrities. Let a man portray Dima Bilan, a group of girls will turn into ViaGra. And one of the bravest young ladies can become Irina Allegrova. When the music starts, the toastmaster will announce the arrival of celebrities who want to congratulate the couple. The task of the participants is to portray Russian pop stars as accurately as possible. As a rule, they show it quite funny. You can add comedy by dressing the guy as Allegrova and the girl as Bilan.
  2. Let's make two teams. They can be divided into a guy and a girl, or by tables, acquaintances. Each group is given a sheet of words and music. Their task is to come up with a short song using these words. After they do this, they have to perform it for the young couple.
  3. My favorite game since childhood is “Guess the Melody.” Everyone sitting still raises their hand and names what song was just played. The one who names the most times is automatically designated the winner.
  4. The musical hat is a game that goes great at any wedding celebration. The presenter prepares excerpts from musical compositions in advance. He approaches any guest present, asks him something, and in response, when he puts on his hat, music sounds. The songs are selected in such a way that they provide funny and funny answers.

Table

Many music competitions can be held without leaving the table.

  • Remember the song. Guests take turns remembering and singing wedding-themed songs. If you delve into your memory, you can remember a lot of such songs. The winner is the participant who sang last and did not repeat the songs of the previous guests.
  • Musical questions. Another team competition in which one team asks a question with a line from a song, and the second team must answer it with a line from another song. For example, the question “I asked the ash tree where my beloved is?” Answer: “Where the maple tree rustles over the river wave.”
  • Musical hat. First you need to “cut” the melodies of popular songs and prepare a hat. The host puts it on the heads of the guests one by one and asks tricky questions, and the hat gives funny musical answers.

“Answer the question quickly”

Participants sit in a circle. The presenter will be in the center and will ask questions to which participants are given 1-2 seconds to answer. The questions are so elementary that you don’t really need to think about them, but as a fact, many are lost due to the fact that little time is given. Questions: What day comes after Friday? What was the name of the first president of Ukraine? How many hands do you have? How old are you? What is your name? What city do you live in? You are bald? What letter comes after I? What is the year now? What is your father's name? What's 2 2? What number comes after 8? What month is it? How many children do you have? What street do you live on? What are you sitting on? To a man: did you wear a dress today? To a woman: did you shave today? What color is the sky?

For the hall

For these competitions, participants need to get up from the table and go to the presenter.

  • Guess the melody. This popular game can now be used to hold competitions at weddings. The invitees are divided into two teams; To guess the melody, one participant from each of them is chosen in turn. The team that managed to guess the most songs wins.
  • Congratulations to the young people. Two teams also take part in this competition - each of them is given a sheet of words, and they must, in a short time, come up with a song in which these words will be used, and then perform it.
  • Song competition. Participants of the competition stand in a circle facing each other. One participant sings a verse from any song, the next must immediately sing a verse from another song containing at least one word from the text of the previous participant. Anyone who could not do this or got lost is eliminated from the competition.

Music competitions

Scene “Clip-song”

This is the most creative musical fun for a New Year's corporate evening.

Prepare musical accompaniment in advance: songs about Father Frost, the Christmas tree, the Snow Maiden... and simple attributes that will help the players dress up (beads, hats, felt boots, scarves...)

The task is to make a corporate video for the song “The Little Christmas Tree Is Cold in Winter.” We need an operator who will shoot a video clip on camera.

Participants, to the accompaniment of songs, begin to depict all the actions that are sung about: “the little gray bunny was jumping under the Christmas tree” - the hero is jumping, “they hung the beads” - the team hangs the beads on an improvised living “Christmas tree”.

You can divide into two teams (employees and female employees) and each will shoot their own video. It is advisable to display the results on a large screen and compare them. The winners will be awarded with branded souvenirs or applause.

Competition "Lazy Dancing"

The players sit in a circle on chairs and begin to dance to the cheerful New Year's music and song. But these are strange dances - no one gets up from their seats!

At the command of the leader, they dance with different parts of the body:

  • First we dance with our elbows!
  • Then shoulders
  • legs,
  • fingers,
  • lips,
  • eyes, etc.

The rest choose the coolest dance.

Upside down song

This is a comic game that you can play at any time during the holiday. The presenter recites lines from a New Year/winter song, but with the words in reverse. The task of everyone is who can guess the original faster and sing it. The person who guesses correctly is given a chip (candy wrapper, candy, cone...) so that later it will be easier to count the winner in the entire competition.

The lines might look something like this:

— The birch tree died in the steppe. - The Forest Raised a Christmas Tree. - The old month is slow, nothing will happen for a long time. - The New Year is rushing towards us, everything will happen soon. — White, white steam rose on the ground. — Blue-blue frost lay on the wires. - One gray donkey, one gray donkey. - Three white horses, three white horses. — A brave white wolf was sitting on a baobab tree. - The cowardly gray bunny was jumping under the Christmas tree. - Keep quiet, Santa Claus, where are you going? - Tell me, Snow Maiden, where have you been? - Read me a book about 1 hour. - I’ll sing you a song about five minutes. — The huge palm tree is hot in the summer. – The little Christmas tree is cold in winter. — The weights were removed and left the chain. - They hung the beads and began to dance in a circle. “I was running away from you, Snow Maiden, and wiped away a few sweet smiles.” - I was running after you, Santa Claus. I shed a lot of bitter tears. - Oh, it’s hot, it’s hot, warm you up! Warm you and your camel. - Oh, frost-frost, don’t freeze me! Don't freeze me, my horse. - Your worst acquisition is me. - My best gift is you.

Song competition “Musical hat of Santa Claus”

Attributes: put words from New Year's songs in the hat.

The players pass it around in a circle to the accompaniment of music. When the music stops, the person who received the hat at that moment takes out a card with the word and must remember/sing the piece of the song where it appears.

You can play in teams. Then the hat is passed from representative to representative of each team. You can limit the time it takes to complete a task and reward the team for every guess they make.

If you’re not sure that your guests are so quick-thinking, write not just one word, but a short phrase. Then it will be easier to remember the song!

Dance by candlelight

A dynamic, but at the same time very calm and gentle dance competition.

Play slow music and encourage couples to light sparklers and dance. The couple whose fire burns longer wins and will receive a prize.

If you want to add spice to your dance, choose tango!

An old song in a new way

Print the lyrics of famous (not even New Year's) songs and prepare musical accompaniment without words (karaoke music).

Invite those who wish to sing them in the voices of various characters.

This could be Karabas Barabas, the Snow Maiden, an evil policeman, a kind Baba Yaga, and even your boss.

Quietly loud

A well-known song is chosen, which all guests begin to sing in chorus.

On the command “Quiet!” sing a song to themselves. At the command “Loud!” out loud again.

And since everyone sang at their own pace, the loud choir begins with different words. And this is repeated several times, amusing everyone.

For any celebration

Dancing is an integral part of any wedding. Guests can simply dance or take part in a fun musical competition.

  • Dancing on the newspaper. Participants are divided into pairs; each couple dances on a newspaper laid out on the floor. Gradually the task becomes more complicated - the newspaper is folded first 2 times, then 4 times. A team that leaves the “field” is eliminated from the competition.
  • Dances of the peoples of the world. Usually, 2 teams of 3-4 participants each are selected for this competition. They must dance to the music of different countries and styles - Lezginka, tap dancing, gypsy dance, hula, etc. In addition, the presenter gives the dancers additional props - for example, flippers.
  • Dancing on command. Participants are divided into pairs, and the leader commands what they need to do in the dance - for example, connect their right legs, press back to back, take their partner’s right ear with their left hand, etc.

Quiz

The focus of the quiz can be anything - literary competitions, a comic evening or serious competitions. Not only students, but also anyone who wants to can take part.

You can, for example, compose a series of questions in a particular discipline - literature, mathematics, physics, or ask riddles to test your ingenuity and resourcefulness. You can also ask those present to remember actresses bearing the name Tatyana, or literary heroines, ask them to come up with as many diminutives as possible for the name Tatyana.

You can ask questions orally, or you can prepare cards with questions, photographs of actresses or portraits in advance.

Time Machine

Give those present paper, pens and envelopes and ask them to write letters to themselves. Then put all the letters in a box, which is securely sealed and given to someone for safekeeping. Any period for opening letters can be set - five, ten years, etc.

Theater competition

Participants receive task cards. According to this task, they must read a nursery rhyme in some style, for example, “Our Tanya is crying loudly.” Depending on the task, you need to read this poem in the spirit of a telephone conversation, or a love confession, or an oratorical speech, etc.

Who ate the carrots?

Participants stand in a circle, the driver is in the center. Participants pass each other a carrot (apple, banana, etc.) behind their backs, while also trying to bite off a piece while the driver does not see. The driver must guess who has the carrot now. If he guessed right, he changes places with the one who had the carrot. If the participants managed to eat the carrot before the driver guessed where it was, he must complete some task.

Fortune telling from Tatiana

We can tell those present that all Tatianas can accurately predict the future for anyone who wants to. Usually they use the novel “Eugene Onegin” to tell fortunes, asking questions: “what happened,” “what will happen,” “how the heart will calm down.”

Guinness show

You can hold a competition to see who, for example, has the longest hair, the thinnest waist, etc. At the end of the competition, everyone is awarded the title of “best.”

Forged chains

Participants are divided into two teams. Both teams stretch out in a chain and, holding hands tightly, stand opposite each other, at a distance of about six steps. One of the teams chooses one representative, and he tries to break the chain with a running start. If he succeeds, he takes any participant to his team, if not, then he himself remains in another team.

Newspaper

You can make a comic newspaper by pasting cuttings from newspapers and magazines, and in place of the photographs, paste photos of friends, teachers, etc.

Use children's photographs; you can invite others to guess which is which by comparing children's and adult photos.

For the newspaper you will need whatman paper, color magazines or newspapers, felt-tip pens, paints, scissors, glue. You can make a wooden frame for the newspaper, on which you can stick anything you like - buttons, paper clips, beans, beads, etc.

You can draw a poster. It will differ from a newspaper in that they do not write on it, but draw, mostly funny pictures. You can stick them on too. The flight of fancy is not limited here.

Butterflies

You can make butterflies from candy wrappers and scatter them on shelves, attach them to curtains, or hang them on a chandelier. This is done like this: candy wrappers are collected in an accordion to form corrugated strips, then they are folded together in threes and fastened in the middle with a small paper ring.

Asterisks

Cut out stars from foil, colored or gift paper. They can be pasted on walls, on cabinets, hung on the ceiling, etc. d.

Toothpaste

Draw patterns or pictures on windows, glass cabinet doors, or any smooth surface with toothpaste. You can use colored paste. The advantage is that it is then easily washed off, and when it dries, you can draw on top of it with markers, and then all this will also wash off without effort. You can sprinkle glitter on the paste before it dries.

For a themed celebration

Recently, themed celebrations have come into fashion - weddings in a certain color or style. If you are planning to hold just such a celebration, at least some of the music competitions should be related to the chosen topic.

Important! When choosing a wedding venue, pay special attention to the size of the hall and the availability of free space for dances and competitions, because some of them may require a large area. By the way, in this article we have collected the best song competitions.

Show your imagination! For any wedding in retro style, you can hold a competition related to the musical traditions of the chosen era. For a wedding in a certain color - sing or dance to those songs that mention the desired color or objects of this color.

A wedding in a nautical style, a pirate wedding, a wedding in the “Scarlet Sails” style give a lot of scope for imagination - after all, there are a lot of songs related to the sea. Having decided on the theme, think about how to connect musical accompaniment and music competitions at the wedding with it.

Preparing a child for a song competition

Although the organizers of the competition have a lot of work related to its implementation, the main part of the child’s preparation falls on his environment: parents, music teacher, head of the vocal studio where he studies. It largely depends on them how the young contestant will perform his program, what aesthetic and psychological experience he will receive. Public speaking is a challenging experience for a child of any age. What needs to be done to make it successful?

  1. Choose a song based on the given theme of the competition, children's preferences and vocal abilities. Here you can’t do without professional advice. No matter how much a child likes this or that song, the main selection criterion should be his ability to perform with it. Consider the age of the participant.
  2. Work out the stage image . This concept includes costume, hairstyle, makeup and behavior on stage. Together with your child, discuss the nature of the song and what emotions it evokes. Think about what movements and gestures you can use to convey them. Once you've mapped out a behavior on stage, be sure to practice it and don't be afraid to change it if a movement doesn't look as intended.
  3. Select the soundtrack of the song . As a rule, most of the modern repertoire can be found on the Internet.
  4. Learn the words to the song and practice the performance . If parents do not have special education, it is better to do this under the guidance of a music or vocal teacher. During the rehearsal process, performance should be brought to automaticity. Be sure that on stage the child will become agitated and will not be able to clearly control what he should do in what order.
  5. Take care of psychological preparation . Be sure to discuss what you want to get from participating in the competition, what hopes you have for it. You should not set a goal for your child to win. Orient it towards other goals: to please the audience, learn to perform certain dance elements, to adequately represent your class or school. This way you will avoid disappointment if another participant wins.

The competition is over - but it can still provide a lot of material for the development of a child’s personality. Be sure to talk about what he learned during the preparation and execution process. Discuss what went well and what didn’t. Consolidate this experience in drawings and other works.

Tips for choosing

  • Focus on the musical preferences of your guests. If this is a youth wedding, then it is hardly worth including accordion songs or Russian folk songs in the program. This kind of competition might go off with a bang once, but it’s unlikely to happen again.
  • Keep it in moderation. Competitions are rightly considered the best entertainment for any wedding, but if you force guests to complete tasks for a long time without a break, it can cause dissatisfaction.
  • It is ideal to include game blocks of 15-20 minutes in the program (2-3 competitions, no more) with breaks for dancing, toasts and everything else. But even if on paper everything seemed ideal, but in fact the guests are already tired and are performing tasks “under pressure” - a good host should immediately change the program, because his main task at any wedding is to maintain a good mood among everyone present, not allow irritation or boredom to occur.
  • Say no to platitudes. Everyone knows the traditional wedding competitions that have long set their teeth on edge: if you attend 10 different weddings, at 8-9 of them the program may consist of 90% of the same “terribly funny” tasks.
  • Don’t be lazy and find original ideas for competitions for your wedding - your guests will thank you for it.
  • For competitions where participants must guess the melody or sing a song, choose only well-known musical compositions in Russian. Prepare microphones, soundtracks, tape recorder, etc. in advance. Check that everything works without failures or hiccups. Don't forget to also prepare prizes for the winners.

Music competitions, games and fun

Song skit.

Participants are divided into teams, they are given the words of the song and a soundtrack. After preparation, the teams must, accompanied by a soundtrack, show the audience a theatrical composition.

Happy ticket

The players stand in two circles: the inner one is formed by girls, the outer one by boys. There should be one more person in the outer circle than in the inner circle. To the music, both circles move in different directions. The music has ended - the players from the outer circle must embrace the player from the inner circle. A girl is a “lucky ticket”. Whoever didn’t get the “ticket” is the “hare” and performs some task.

"Don't think down on seconds"

The recording contains some humorous text - perhaps a monologue by a famous pop artist. Having invited the participants to listen carefully to the text in order to be able to reproduce it later, the presenter turns down the volume of the recording every few seconds, then adds the sound again for a split second.

After listening, players pronounce their version of the text, and then listen to it as it should sound. The most attentive and perceptive, having managed to accurately convey what was missed, receive a reward.

Dances.

Take a simple album sheet of paper, lay it on the floor, invite a young couple and tell them to dance on it while the song plays. They must never stand up for him; if they do, then they have lost, and also, if they stand up, then

take off some thing from themselves, but under no circumstances any coins, etc. if the couple dances, they will win.

New Year's ditties

2 teams of 5 people.

in 15 minutes they come up with as many ditties as possible about the New Year, Santa Claus, the Snow Maiden or the Christmas tree.

Who knows more songs?

The first player begins to sing the song. After the first one has finished singing, the next one begins to sing. A player who cannot sing a song in turn is considered a loser.

Let's sing in chorus.

At a wedding, two teams take turns remembering and singing songs with a given word or a specific song.

GREAT PEDIGREES

Future singers are given cards on which the names of political leaders of different years are written (Gorbachev, Lenin, Stalin, Brezhnev, Yeltsin, Zhirinovsky, etc.). The players' task is to perform the song in the image indicated on the card. The lyrics of the songs that are offered for performance should be familiar, and even better, printed on the cards on the back.

Dancing

Two teams are called and line up in M/F order. One person is left without a partner and is given a “tool of labor” - a mop. The couples dance to the music (2-3 minutes) and when the leader turns it off, the couples must change partners and do it very quickly, because at this time, the person throws the mop and grabs the first dancer he comes across. It could be a guy or a girl. Whoever is left without a partner must dance with a mop! It turns out to be a lot of fun!

Gypsy

For 5-6 participants, the same number of chairs are placed in a circle. The first music is put on, the participants walk around the chairs until the music stops, the music stops - the participants take off one thing at a time. Do this several times. After a certain time, different music sounds and the participants begin to dress. The trick is that the players' things are on different chairs. And here comes the final race. Where the participant stays is where he dresses. Prize for the most extravagant.

SOUND ENGINEER

This game requires sound accompaniment, and here you cannot do without special devices. To do this, immediately find objects that can become sources of different characteristic sounds. A baking sheet and a metal spoon, ski boots and a board, clean cans filled with dry peas, a saucepan with a lid, a whistle and more will do.

Also, have a tape recorder and a blank cassette ready. Now you are ready to make a radio show. Tell us, for example, “The Tale of Good and Evil.” It might start like this:

“One day we were wandering through the forest and suddenly heard someone’s steps. (Put your hands into your shoes, and then move them heavily and slowly along the board). At first the footsteps were quiet, but gradually became louder and louder. (You know how to do this.) I turned around and saw a huge bear. I froze in fear, and then thunder struck. (Hit the baking sheet with a spoon several times.) I looked up at the sky, from which large drops of rain were falling (shake a can of dry peas), and the bear opened his umbrella and walked away ... "

Turn on the tape recorder and get down to business.

Let's sing in chorus.

At a wedding, two teams take turns remembering and singing songs with a given word or a specific song.

Dance with a handkerchief

The game goes as follows. Prepare a beautiful neckerchief in advance. Everyone should stand in a circle. One person is chosen as the host, he will be responsible for the music. Its main task is, firstly, to select energetic, incendiary melodies, and secondly, at a certain moment to press the “on” button. - off.”

One person goes to the middle of the circle and puts a scarf around his neck. And he doesn’t just throw it on, he ties it with a bow. This is a must. The music turns on and the person starts dancing in the middle of the circle. Having made several spectacular “steps”, the player must pass his handkerchief to someone from the circle. In this case, the handkerchief must be tied into a knot, and the person must be kissed. Now the new “carrier” of the handkerchief comes to the middle of the circle.

You can dance and show off in the spotlight as much as your heart desires. The only thing, remember that at the most unexpected moment the music turns off, and the one who remains in the circle must loudly shout everyone’s favorite “ku-ka-re-ku!”

Broom

This simple children's fun can also be enjoyed in adult company. A broom is launched across the hall. The presenter says at this time: “You fly, cheerful broom, further and further along the hands. Whoever has a broom left dances for us!” Thus, 5-6 people are selected. They dance the “Dance of the Little Swans” together. At the end everyone gets small prizes.

You can't erase a word from a song

The presenter writes in advance on pieces of paper words related to the theme of the New Year holiday, winter, winter entertainment (Christmas tree, round dance, frost, frost, snowflake, icicle, etc.), then places the pieces of paper in a hat and invites guests to take part in a song competition : “This hat contains different words, you take turns taking out, reading, remembering and singing lines from songs where these words appear. But the songs should be about winter and the New Year holiday.”

Song about the Christmas tree

Volunteers are called and, at the command of the leader, they, one by one, must perform an excerpt from a song, or read a poem about a Christmas tree. If a participant, within a certain time, cannot perform anything, he is eliminated.

The participant who remains is declared the winner.

Musical bottle

The presenter builds an “organ” or a “metallophone” from empty bottles - whoever succeeds.

One by one, the Grandfathers approach this instrument and use a spoon to perform a New Year's melody. The winner is the one whose creation seems the most melodic to the jury.

OH, ADVERTISEMENT!”

To conduct this competition, it is necessary to pre-record the soundtrack of introductions to television advertisements and invite participants to continue the text that, in their opinion, sounds after the musical intro. The most knowledgeable ones receive prizes - those things, objects whose advertisements they know by heart. For this competition, it is better to have soundtracks of those TV commercials that are already a little forgotten.

Musical hat

The participants of the game stand in a circle and pass the hat to each other to the music: the player takes the hat off his head and puts it on the head of the neighbor on the right. When the host stops the music, the player with the hat leaves the game. The last one standing wins.

Other game options: you can use huge shorts, a shirt, etc. The item can be passed without using your hands.

Remember the melody

The presenter invites everyone to sing together, in chorus. To begin with, a song that everyone probably knows: “Moscow Nights” or “Blue Car”. At the first clap of the leader, everyone begins to sing loudly; at the second clap, the singing continues, but only mentally, silently; at the third clap, they sing out loud again. And so several times until someone gets confused. The one who makes a mistake comes forward and invites everyone to sing some other well-known song. This is repeated several times. The leader can help everyone else by conducting the combined choir, especially during those moments when the participants are singing mentally.

Let's sing friends

Two teams play, for example, men and women. The first ones start to sing, perform a verse or chorus, where there is some question like “Where are you, my Suliko?” The second must sing an answer to this song, for example: “In the distant Bay of Biscay...” And ask their question. You cannot repeat songs previously played in the game. Gradually, the list of well-known melodies (or rather, words) is exhausted and the game comes to naught. The interesting thing is not so much who will win, but the process itself.

Remix.

Remixed popular melodies (fast, slow, rock and roll, Charleston, etc.)

5 pairs are called. Who can dance the remix better?

Sound thoughts

A cassette is prepared in advance with individual lines from songs with approximately the following content:

1. “Well, where are you girls, girls, girls, short skirts, skirts, skirts...”

2. “Take me quickly, and take me over a hundred seas, and kiss me everywhere...”

3. “You abandoned me, you abandoned me.”

4. “If you want, you want, I know for sure: you want...”.

5. “If there was a sea of beer, I would become a beautiful dolphin...”

6. “Oh, what a man he was! A real colonel!” etc.

The presenter (it is better if he dresses in a magician or astrologer costume) approaches one of those present and begins to move his hands above his head, the assistant turns on the tape, and everyone hears the thoughts of the guest. The presenter's comments on the thoughts heard are required. Up to 8-10 “thoughts” on a cassette are enough.

Dancing on the newspaper.

A newspaper is taken, placed on the floor, several young couples are invited and they are told to dance on it while the song plays. They must never stand up for the newspaper; if they do, they are out.

After a short dance, the music stops and the newspaper is folded in half.

This continues until there is only one couple left, tired on a rolled-up newspaper and at the same time dancing.

Dancing with balls.

A guy and a girl are holding an inflated balloon between their stomachs. Next comes rock and roll. The pair that doesn't drop/crush the ball wins. After the competition, the dancers enjoy playing “beach volleyball” throughout the rest of the evening, so even without a competition, it’s always useful to grab dance balls.

Brook

Our great-grandmothers and great-grandfathers knew and loved this game, and it has come down to us almost unchanged. There is no need to be strong, agile or fast. This game is of a different kind - emotional, it creates a mood that is cheerful and cheerful. The rules are simple. The players stand one after another in pairs, usually a boy and a girl, a boy and a girl, join hands and hold them high above their heads. The clasped hands create a long corridor. The player who did not get a pair goes to the “source” of the stream and, passing under clasped hands, looks for a pair. Holding hands, the new couple makes their way to the end of the corridor, and the one whose couple was broken goes to the beginning of the “stream”. And passing under clasped hands, he takes with him the one he likes. This is how the “trickle” moves - the more participants, the more fun the game is, especially fun to play with music.

Not a single holiday in the old days was complete among young people without this game. Here you have a struggle for your beloved, and jealousy, and a test of feelings, and a magical touch on the hand of the chosen one. The game is wonderful, wise and extremely meaningful.

Continue the song

Song lovers competition. We stand in a circle, facing each other. The host starts the song, sings or speaks one verse. The next player continues with a verse of another song, without a pause in between.

CONDITION. All subsequent verses must contain at least one word from the previous song. As soon as the first player has finished singing the first verse, the next song, without a pause, is picked up by the player to his right.

Small choir

Participants sit on stools. Funny faces are drawn on the bare knees of the participants, some clothes are put on the shins, the knees are decorated with scarves and bows, and the feet remain bare. A sheet is pulled in front of the participants. The presenter announces: “From behind the forest, from behind the mountains, a small choir has come to us.”

Assistants lift the sheet to the knees so that only the performers' legs are visible. The artists sing children's songs or ditties, moving their legs, feet, etc. Performances of such a choir are usually encores, so concert participants need to take care of the repertoire.

Rehash.

Two people, each on command, begin to sing their song. The task is not to get lost and finish the song to the end.

Tango or waltz in bags.

Each person is given a bag that can be held with one hand.

And couples dance tango or waltz.

Drop, river, ocean

An energetic game that requires significant living space and a large number of players. The action is accompanied by a dynamic background music.

All participants get up from their seats and are distributed around the playing area. Each player is a droplet. It's easy to imagine a window after the rain. Large drops on transparent glass. The leader gives the command: “Unite in twos.” All players must instantly find a partner and hold hands. Without allowing the players to come to their senses, the leader commands: “Unite in threes.” And now the three players are moving to the music, holding hands and not forgetting to dance. The leader’s commands follow one after another: “Four people, five, six.” “Everyone in a common circle,” the leader commands, and all players form a large round dance.

Greedy

There are many balls scattered on the floor.

Those interested are invited. And on command, to the accompaniment of fast music, each participant must take and hold as many balls as possible.

Song.

The presenter invites everyone to sing a song. It is better to choose a song that is familiar to all participants. At the first clap of the leader, everyone begins to sing loudly; at the second, the singing continues, but only mentally, silently; at the third clap, they sing out loud again.

Question answer.

All participants are divided into two teams. One of the teams performs a song containing a question, for example: “I asked the ash tree, where is my beloved?”, the other team remembers a song that would contain the answer to the question “where”, for example: “Somewhere in this world , where it’s always frosty...” The game continues until one team gives up.

Colors.

All participants are divided into two teams. Assignment for teams: perform a song that contains any color. Songs cannot be repeated, even if different colors are mentioned. The game continues until one team gives up.

Three phrases.

The presenter declares that none of those present will be able to repeat after him the three simple phrases that he will say. Of course, no one will agree with him. Then the presenter, as if looking for words, says a short phrase. For example, “The weather is nice today.” Everyone confidently repeats this phrase. The presenter searches for another phrase in his mind. Everyone also confidently repeats it. Then he quickly and joyfully says: “Well, you were wrong!” Confusion, questions, argument. And the presenter explains that his third phrase, which had to be repeated, was: “Well, you were wrong!”
