Here I want to share just such a simple drawing that you can do yourself on both hands - tested on yourself! I took the autumn muted beige-pink color as the basis for my manicure. By adding gold foil prints, black geometric patterns, leaves and covering it with a matte top, we get a classic autumn combination.
How to draw leaves on nails step by step:
- The first stage we always prepare nails for gel polish coating: we do a manicure, remove the cuticle and correct the shape of the nails, remove the natural gloss with a buffer and apply a degreaser or primer. If you are new to this, I advise you to read more about each step in this article.
- Cover the nails with a base for gel polish and dry in a lamp for the required time.
- Next, a color coating is applied. I did this in two layers. I covered the patterned nails only partially with color using a thin brush, and applied camouflage gel polish to the rest of the surface, also in 2 layers.
- Gold foil is imprinted onto the sticky layer of camouflage gel polish with sharp movements.
- Using a thin brush and black gel paint, we separate the junction of the colors with a thin and thick strip, adding a little geometry on the nails to the design.
- Cover with a matte top coat and dry. This way the foil and color will look muted in autumn.
- We draw leaves with black gel paint: first a thin twig, then oval drops around it, after which we pull out a thin hair from them in one direction, and in the second we connect the leaf with the branch with the same thin line.
- Sprinkle small black glitter onto the undried gel paint, shake off the excess by tapping your finger and send it to the lamp.
Here is the final result under a microscope:
It holds up perfectly, I had my manicure done for two weeks and not a single leaf was damaged!)
