Goals and Objectives of ADDI
The core mission of the Association of Interior Designers and Decorators is to bring beauty, style and good taste into everyday objects, improving the world whenever possible. Our main goals and objectives flow from this mission, aimed at facilitating the working conditions of the designers themselves and finding new opportunities for fruitful cooperation with customers for mutual benefit.
By accepting into our ranks the best specialists, artists, sculptors, reliable, talented and experienced, we, in turn, try to provide them with additional benefits and privileges. Thus, all ADDI participants have the opportunity to seek legal support from our regular partners. Our lawyers are ready to provide any assistance, from consultations to assistance in concluding contracts and maintaining other documentation related to design activities. By joining our ranks, you can count not only on qualified legal support, but also on membership in prestigious international specialized organizations. For example, members of the Association are given the opportunity to obtain dual membership in BIID (British Institute of Interior Design). In addition, we offer profitable cooperation with our partners: suppliers and manufacturers of finishing materials, lighting fixtures, textiles, well-known publications dedicated to design and related topics.
Such an integrated approach, uniting professionals in their field into one cohesive union, allows potential clients to easily find contractors and ensures the implementation of design projects of any complexity in the shortest possible time at a high level.
What is the essence and features
Wedding floristry, to put it simply, means decorating wedding cars and banquet halls with flowers, preparing bouquets for the bride and guests, making arrangements for tables and other needs. But to say so means not to say anything. Because in fact, wedding floristry involves much more.
And this is not just an art that requires special thinking, talent and skill. This is science, this is a special vision of life and the world and a completely different attitude towards them. A real master florist must feel the theme of the wedding, understand the young people and be imbued with their feelings in order to create truly successful and beautiful compositions, finding exactly those flowers and their combinations that the customer will certainly like.
At the same time, when composing even the most ordinary bouquet for the table, you need to take into account a number of points:
- color combinations;
- color combinations by size and structure;
- geometric angles of the composition;
- compatibility of the plants used with each other.

By wisely combining creativity and practical skills, a florist can create almost anything for a wedding from flowers - from a boutonniere to a photo frame.
our history
The history of ADDI began in 2001, with the light hand of Russian designer Anna Muravina, in collaboration with the editor-in-chief of Mezzanine magazine - and now a well-known presenter and expert in the field of interior design - Natasha Barbier and the founder of the Details School of Design. The first lineup of the community, presented at the exhibition organized by Mezzanine, included only five designers. Over the past eighteen years, a lot has changed: we have gained a wealth of experience, acquired useful connections in our country and abroad, and the membership of the association has grown to a couple of hundred members. But the main thing is different: ADDI has achieved and continues to achieve its goals, ensuring fruitful cooperation between designers, artists, sculptors and consumers of their services.
We will not cite here reviews from grateful clients, the number of contracts concluded during this time and projects implemented by our participants: in the end, this is the privilege of the performers themselves, private specialists and companies. You just need to look at their portfolio to be convinced of their professionalism; no other evidence is required. We, for our part, are proud of the presence in the ranks of ADDI participants of many famous designers, whose names carry weight not only in Moscow and Russia, but also beyond its borders.

WHO IS A DECORATOR DESIGNER?
In many people's minds, interior designer and decorator are synonymous. In fact, professions have different specifics:
- An interior designer is a profession that is based on an understanding of the psychological and physiological behavioral foundations of a person, which allows you to create a functional and comfortable space for living.
- A decorator is a specialist who, with the help of decorative elements, can change the mood of the interior, make it more stylish and fashionable.
Decoration is essentially an integral part of interior design, which is why many design courses involve learning how to decorate residential and commercial spaces. However, a decorator can work not only with interiors, but also with floristry, textiles and even cooking.
