A sweet table at a wedding is one of the important elements in the decoration of the festive hall. It is important to carefully consider its organization and take into account all the nuances, for example:
- if the banquet is in the form of a buffet table, then the sweet table should be placed between the main dishes and drinks;
- a sweet table can be set up in the guest greeting area at check-in;
- if the restaurant has a separate area where guests can relax between rooms during the entertainment program, then the table with sweets should be installed there;
- the table should not be on the sunny side so that the sweets do not spoil;
- there should be a sufficient number of forks and napkins on the table;
- sweets should be stored in the refrigerator, and they should be placed on the table immediately before guests arrive.
When creating a dessert table, it is important to stick to the same color scheme as the decoration of the entire wedding, then the result will be especially impressive
Sweet compositions made in 2-3 colors look more impressive than multi-colored ones.

In order for the sweets on the table to look beautiful, there must be a central composition in the form of a multi-tiered vase, a bouquet of sweets or a cake.
In summer, the sweet table must include soft drinks: juices, lemonades, fruit drinks.
And in the cool season, it is recommended to install a tea set nearby.
What should be on the tea table: coffee, tea, cream or milk. Guests will not have to wait for tea to be served at the common table, but will be able to pour it themselves.
Between the various sweets you need to place small decorative elements. For example, paper garlands with the inscription “Happy Wedding Day!”, figurines in the form of doves or a bride and groom, cute small crafts. You can also put small craft paper bags so that guests can wrap sweets to take with them.

Wedding cookies and gingerbread for the table and as a gift for guests
For our country, giving invited guests some souvenirs in memory of a wedding celebration is a tradition that has recently become fashionable.
Both souvenirs specially purchased for this occasion and various sweets can act as a memorable gift.
Fortunately, the level of development of modern confectionery art allows us to produce real masterpieces that can hardly even be called ordinary “food products”.
At a modern wedding, cookies and gingerbread are an integral attribute of the sweet table. They can be placed on the main wedding table as a sweet snack.
Cookies can be a separate type of sweet bar - cookie-bar.
Also, these confectionery products can act as a sweet addition to tea or coffee bars, recreation areas with soft drinks, welcome areas, etc.
To design a separate “gingerbread-cookie” cookie bar or candy bar containing sweet pastries, you can use three options:
Which option to choose is up to each wedding planner to decide independently, based on financial and time limits. The option with store-bought gingerbread is quite inexpensive, but it is unlikely to add originality to the festive feast. Home-baked gingerbread cookies and cookies may differ in original appearance and taste from store-bought ones.
However, you should take on baking gingerbread with your own hands only if you are completely confident in your culinary abilities, so that this difference is for the better.
In addition, preparing sweet treats yourself takes a lot of time and effort. If you decide to order the production of wedding cookies in a confectionery workshop, you can be sure of the high quality of the products. Moreover, a professional can order almost any original design for confectionery products.
Of course, this option is the most expensive from a financial point of view, but it frees up the organizers of the festive feast to prepare other dishes and snacks. A professional pastry chef sometimes becomes indispensable when it is necessary to make a batch of gift cookies for invited guests. The type of cookies can be very different - sponge cake, macaroon, shortbread, custard gingerbread.
The main feature of such a gift should be consistency in the same style in which the wedding celebration is decorated.
To make the gift treat original, you can decorate it with monograms of the bride and groom, wedding rings, or make it in the shape of hearts, birds, or flower buds. An important part of decorating a sweet table with cookies is the correct selection of accessories.

A beautiful and convenient option for filling a wedding sweet table is cookies. It should be made in an unusual, romantic design . For example, decorate with holiday dates and various cute designs: hearts, butterflies, rings.
Cookies can also be of various shapes: round, square or shaped. For example, like Mexican wedding cookies with nuts. It is considered one of the most popular types of cookies for weddings.
Be sure to order small paper envelopes for the cookies to make it more convenient for guests to enjoy the dessert - this way dessert crumbs won’t get on their outfits
Wedding gingerbread cookies with the initials of the newlyweds are an excellent dessert that is suitable for a wedding of any theme. They can be shaped, for example, gingerbread cookies for the bride and groom - they look funny and cute. It is also important that gingerbread products are stored for a long time , so you can prepare them a little in advance of the wedding, and not the day before.
By the way, original gingerbread cookies in tulle can be presented to guests as a small sweet gift in gratitude for coming to share the joyful event of the bride and groom. Guests can take them home with them and enjoy some time after the holiday.

Gingerbread cookies at a wedding: recipe and serving methods
The history of ginger cookies goes back to the times of the Crusades, when soldiers brought various spices, including ginger, to Europe from the eastern lands. According to legend, the first ginger cookies were baked by a monk in one of the monasteries in England, adding crushed ginger to the dough. Wedding cake
Even in the old days, the main decoration of the wedding table were pies with different fillings. Now many people are moving away from this tradition, preferring the European style of celebration . But wedding baked goods can take their rightful place on the sweet table.
The center of a wedding sweet table with pastries can be a loaf. It is believed that this cake conveys good wishes and blessings for a strong marriage relationship to the newlyweds.
The loaf is usually baked large in many layers. And on top it is decorated with braids, ears of wheat, molded from dough. You can complement the loaf on the sweet table with small buns in the form of cones or ducks, roses and cups of honey, jam or preserves.
Kurnik is another traditional wedding pie made from puff pastry or butter dough, which is made in the form of a dome. The filling is usually made from meat, fried mushrooms, rice and eggs, and is separated inside the pie by thin layers of dough.
At the table with pastries you can serve rolls, bagels, dryers and put a real samovar with tea. Pancakes with various sweet fillings from berries, fruits, cottage cheese are also suitable here.
This decoration is best suited for a wedding celebrated in Russian style.

The best way to host a fortune telling party... invite a real fortune teller. To create the appropriate atmosphere, place around the apartment all kinds of accessories that, in your opinion, relate to witchcraft: scented candles, crystal balls, bouquets of “shamanic” herbs.

Tarot cards. For some people this still sounds quite exotic, for others it is a great way to “predict” the future. Even if neither you nor anyone you know knows how to read tarot cards, buy a new deck anyway. As a rule, it comes with instructions with the interpretation of the cards, and you can have a lot of fun making layouts and understanding them together. The main thing here is a sense of humor and healthy skepticism. But if you take fortune telling with Tarot cards seriously enough, you should invite a master who knows how to do it professionally.
You can also print out a few humorous tests that can be distributed at the party to all the ladies present for them to fill out. One of the tests can be created specifically for the bride and groom. The bride will fill out her copy at the bachelorette party, and the groom at the bachelor party, and then you can compare the answers and find out how well they know each other.
