Advantages

Photo 1There is an opinion that there is nothing better for a wedding than fresh flowers, but this is far from true. Corrugated paper bouquets have a number of advantages over conventional accessories:

  • Economical. Wedding arrangements made from fresh flowers are not cheap. To draw them up, you need to contact an experienced florist, who you will have to choose in advance, perhaps wait in line or increase the amount of the remuneration. A paper bouquet is much cheaper, because it is easy to make yourself from budget materials;
  • Light weight. The wedding bouquet accompanies the bride throughout the entire celebration. The accessory based on corrugated paper is very light and will not bother even the most fragile hero of the occasion;
  • Durability. Fresh flowers quickly wither. This problem is especially relevant if a winter or, on the contrary, summer ceremony is planned. A paper bouquet will not lose its beauty during the celebration, and it will not have to be specially dried to preserve it after the wedding;

Interesting! Giving paper a corrugated structure is achieved by creating folds or corrugations by repeatedly folding the sheet.

  • Strength. Crinkled paper holds its shape much better and longer than other materials. It is easier to create any hand-made products from it;
  • Originality. Unusual outfits and accessories are in fashion today. Such a bouquet will certainly be remembered by everyone present and will emphasize the creativity of the newlywed;
  • Attractiveness. Compositions made from crumpled paper are very bright. Thanks to the property of this material to stretch and contract, the buds become similar to natural ones;
  • Versatility. Based on corrugated paper, accessories are made according to an individual sketch in any style using all kinds of decor.

The wedding celebration is coming to an end and the moment comes when the bride throws her wedding bouquet to her unmarried bridesmaids.

But bouquets of fresh flowers are very delicate, sometimes they can even fall apart in flight, especially if this bouquet is in a porta bouquet. And the bride wants to keep it as a souvenir. Therefore, they very often make duplicate bouquets for the bride with their own hands.

It can be done using all of the above methods. Such a symbolic wedding bouquet-understudy will be kept by the girlfriend for a long time, especially since it can be easily caught and held in your hands, it will not spoil the dress.

What kind of brides are they suitable for?

Note! When choosing a wedding attribute, it is worth considering that such unusual flowers should fit the overall style of the holiday.

Many people assume that a bouquet based on corrugated paper is suitable only for young girls, and older ladies will look ridiculous with such an accessory. This is a misconception.

Chic bouquets are made from artificial materials that look no less luxurious than an attribute based on living plants. The main thing is to carefully consider the design and decorative elements.

Classification by purpose

According to their purpose as a gift, the following types of flower bouquets are distinguished:

Women's bouquet

Perhaps the most common flower arrangements are bouquets created for beautiful ladies

And no matter how old this lady is, 10 or 50, every girl, girl or woman is always pleased to receive such a gift

Women's bouquets embody the flight of fancy of any florist, because in their composition both heterogeneous materials are used, including unusual ones, as well as various forms of composition, as well as trends.

However, despite such a variety of women's bouquets, there are some important things that should be taken into account when composing them:

Female age - it is preferable for young girls to give flowers in pastel colors with delicate buds; for young women, richer and brighter shades are suitable; for older women, moderate colors are more suitable, where bright accents are allowed; The degree of kinship and closeness is one of the most important factors. Flowers can be intended for a mother, wife, loved one in one case, or an acquaintance, friend, colleague in another case. In the first option, the bouquet is created with special care and tenderness, therefore the flowers are selected that will convey all the important feelings and attitudes. In the second case, it is better to focus on classic versions of bouquets with well-known flowers, among which the most common option is roses; A woman’s preferences - regardless of all the rules, every woman loves flowers of certain shades, for one it is yellow, for another it is lilac, for a third it is scarlet. The same applies to the form of the composition.

Therefore, it is important for the florist to know about this in order to select flowers of the desired shade and make the bouquet much more pleasant.

Men's bouquet

Men, just like women, can receive a flower bouquet as a gift. But the floral composition presented to a strong representative of humanity will be strikingly different from others.

A man's bouquet of flowers is distinguished by such characteristic features as:

  1. Lack of delicate colors, preference is given to bright, rich tones, for example, scarlet, blue and purple;
  2. Using flowers that do not smell or stain clothes;
  3. The use of an elongated assembly shape, pyramidal or triangular, and no round or spherical options;
  4. Laconic textured packaging.

In this regard, not all flowers are suitable for decorating a male composition. Plants such as alstroemeria, gerberas, callas, irises and long varieties of roses will look stylish. A good addition to them would be bamboo and holly greens.

It is also possible to add beautiful bottles with alcohol, coffee and various gift accessories to the composition.

Children's bouquet

Children's bouquets are made in the form of mini compositions.
The most common types here are small bouquets, bouquets of animals or toys, for example, hares, bears, dolls, cars. Bouquets in the form of cartoon characters are also very popular. Many flower bouquets are arranged in the form of compositions in a basket, box or bag with the addition of sweets or kinder surprises.

But the most important thing when composing such bouquets is to remember that they are intended for children, so we can highlight the following points that are important to consider when assembling:

  1. Children love bright colors;
  2. Flowers should not smell strongly so as not to cause allergies;
  3. Children love toys and sweets;
  4. The bouquet should not be heavy;
  5. The artificial materials used must be harmless.

When starting work on creating a children's bouquet, it is advisable to first draw a sketch and then bring the drawing to life.

Decor

The main principle that should be followed in choosing decor is moderation. The composition should not look vulgar or tasteless. The variety of decor for floral arrangements made from crumpled paper allows you to realize any of the bride’s fantasies. The most common choices are ribbons, beads of different sizes and colors, as well as imitation pearls.

Interesting! An accessory made from corrugated paper with natural materials looks original. Small tree branches are placed between the buds, giving the composition a more realistic look.

The wedding bouquet is complemented with rhinestones, lace, and fabrics of interesting textures and colors.

It is also important to take into account the image of the bride and the theme of the upcoming event. For a wedding in a rustic style, for example, natural materials are quite suitable, and for a royal lavish celebration - pearls and beads.

Peonies

Not all types of bouquets can be made by an inexperienced craftsman, but even a child can make peonies from corrugated paper. Often, corrugated peonies are duplicated when decorating a room so that the bouquet fits better into the overall decor.

Before you get started, prepare everything you need:

  • white corrugated paper;
  • glass container;
  • multi-colored food colors;
  • cotton wool;
  • wire or wooden skewers;
  • scissors;
  • double sided tape;
  • green tape or crumpled paper;
  • glue;
  • yellow needlework threads.

Photo 15
Step-by-step instruction:

  • The production of flowers begins with the core on which the petals will be attached;
  • Take a piece of cotton wool and roll it into a circle the size of a walnut;
  • From double-sided tape we cut out squares a little less than a centimeter in size;
  • We glue them into the central part of the core, and on top we fasten pieces of yellow thread 2-3 cm long. You will need as many such blanks as you plan to make peonies;
  • We make stems from wire or wooden skewers wrapped in green tape or corrugated paper. We attach the cores to the stems using glue;

Advice! It is better to use special floral corrugated paper to create flowers. It is denser and easier to work with.

  • Before creating the petals, dissolve food colors of the selected colors in containers with water. You can mix shades to create an unusual palette;
  • We cut out the petals from white corrugated paper, taking into account the fact that blanks about 4 cm long are made for the inner part of the bud, and 6 cm long for the outer part. Place the finished petals in containers with dyes and leave until completely dry;
  • We attach the petals to the core, starting with the inner ones. When fastening, we give them the required shape, smoothing and squeezing with our hands.

Bouquet-ball

Before starting work, you should prepare the following kit:

  • crumpled paper;
  • cardboard reel from cling film;
  • satin ribbons of different colors;
  • lace;
  • CD;
  • scissors and stationery knife;
  • glue gun;
  • wooden skewers;
  • Styrofoam.

To make a wedding bouquet, follow the instructions:

  1. A cardboard reel will become a stem for a bouquet. We cut off the required length and put polystyrene inside. We wrap the bobbin on top with a wide overlapping tape, periodically coating the layers of fabric with glue;
  2. We wrap the CD with satin ribbon so that there are no gaps, and fix it with glue. We decorate the design with ribbons and lace. We select the colors of the materials according to our own taste. It is better to give preference to pastel colors. In order for the edge of the ribbons to remain smooth, it must be treated with fire using a lighter;
  3. We cut out a hemispherical shape from polystyrene foam;
  4. Flowers made of corrugated paper are glued on top of the foam structure. If necessary, adjusts the shape of the bouquet by trimming the sphere or lightly pressing the flowers into it;
  5. To secure the flower arrangement to the stem, stick several skewers into the center of the disk. Apply hot glue to the skewers and thread the bouquet handle. We decorate the joint with ribbons and pearls;
  6. To complete the wedding composition, we use buds of peonies or other flowers made of corrugated paper.

Advice! It is better to make the accessory in advance so that the smell of the glue has time to dissipate before the celebration.

Rose on a rigid base

This is a very impressive rose. It takes longer to make than a simple one, it will take more ribbon, but such a flower looks very beautiful and festive.

We will need:

  • Tape 2.5 cm wide
  • Circle of hard felt with a diameter of 6 cm
  • Needle and thread
  • Scissors
  • Lighter

Sequence of work:

  1. Burn the edge of the tape with a lighter.
  2. Take a circle of hard felt and cut out a small sector in it.
  3. Take the ribbon with the front side facing you and bend it. It turns out to be a square with the front side up.
  4. We apply the square to the center of the circle and sew it along three sides: the top - from left to right, then the right and bottom - from right to left.
  5. Bend the free ribbon right edge towards the bottom side of the square to form a triangle.
  6. We bend the tape towards the square, as if we were laying it on it. Sew the left edge from bottom to top.
  7. We bend the ribbon again, place it on the square and sew it on.
  8. This happens many times in a row, then increasing the angle.
  9. When almost all the felt is filled, cut off the tape and use a lighter to trim the edge.
  10. We bend the edge of the ribbon back and sew it on, securing the thread.

Using this technology you can make roses from any materials!
