Fun birthday – fun competitions at the table

Traveling by country

The presenter prepares “compromising evidence” on the countries for this competition - any two pictures characterizing a specific country. The presenter takes turns showing two pictures, and the guests at the table guess the country itself. Whoever has the most guessed countries is the winner. Examples of pictures: 1. Bear and balalaika (Russia); 2. Carnival and coffee (Brazil); 3. Sombreros and maracas (Mexico); 4. Pizza and gladiator fights (Italy); 5. Tulips and cheese (Holland); 6. Banks (institutions) and watches (Switzerland) and so on.

Entertainment for a group at the table

"In a plate"

To play “In the Plate” you don’t even need to take your eyes off the dish. Guests must name something on the table, the name of which begins with the letter chosen by the host. The one who does it before others wins. He suggests a new letter.

Songs

For large and small companies, female and male, the traditional folk table entertainment is suitable - singing songs. Funny, lyrical, folk, and even cool hooligan. This can diversify both New Year's corporate parties and family gatherings.

Even if your vocal experience is very small, and you picked up a microphone for the first time a couple of minutes ago, do not be shy, because there are unlikely to be representatives of a strict jury at the table.

"Guess the melody"

To add variety to simple singing, play Guess the Tune. It’s good if you have a musical instrument at hand. But if he is not found, it does not matter. Choose a host to sing the tune, it can be even more fun.

"Memories"

In the game “Memories”, songs can be used in another way: phrases from popular hits are written on pieces of paper, from which you need to guess and sing the intended hit.

"Orchestra"

The game “Orchestra” is dedicated to all connoisseurs of high classics. Participants “play” on the distributed instruments, only kitchen tools are distributed: for men - rolling pins or ladles, and for women - pot lids. Pairs of men and women must play a hidden melody on the instruments they receive.

Board games for companies have been and remain a win-win option.

Preparation for the holiday

Don’t put off preparing for the feast, be sure to:

  • write the script;
  • select suitable competitions;
  • prepare the props;
  • think over and buy prizes.

A good option for the holiday is changing the rules of board games. “New Year's mafia,” for example, takes place with the “purchase” of Christmas trees, lots of beards from Lapland, the imagination is not limited. It will be very fresh and interesting.

"Similarity"

In the game “Similarity,” cards are prepared with images of animals, movie characters, or even plants. On another batch of cards it is written “In the morning I look like...”, the same thing - “At work”, “When I drink”. Participants draw cards with quotes first, then cards with images. A fun evening is guaranteed.

"Crocodile"

Participants must unravel the hidden words by depicting them with gestures, postures and facial expressions.

"Dress Up"

Even a simple New Year's masquerade can be turned into a celebration by putting masks and costume elements in a box. It is passed around in a circle accompanied by music; the participant who still has it, as soon as the music is turned off, must randomly pull out and put on an item from the box. Laughter at the holiday is guaranteed.

"CHGK"

Give a collective compliment to one and all, play a mind game, for example, “What? Where? When?”, choosing questions on the theme of the holiday.

"Colleagues"

Another interesting game is called “Colleagues”. In it you need to show the employee with gestures and facial expressions, pulling out a piece of paper at random with his name. Others must guess the identity.

"Photo Pest"

Poets can compete to find rhymes, and photo enthusiasts can play the game "Photo Wrecker." According to its rules, players try to impersonate fashion models, while others try to ruin the photo by getting into the frame.

Forfeits at the table

Play the old table game "Fanta". Place notes with forfeits in a rubber ball, attach them to the wall, and let everyone throw darts, “knocking out” their ball with the task. You can also hide notes in glasses of wine or in a cake. Exclude unwanted ones from tasks, for example, eating lemons, because someone may be allergic to citrus fruits or have stomach problems.

Ideas for forfeits:

  • write a congratulation on the prepared Whatman paper, holding a felt-tip pen with your teeth or blindfolded;
  • blindfold and guess other guests;
  • right during the holiday, exchange clothes with a neighbor;
  • bite through the balloons.

Entertainment for a group at the table

Each number is unique

Each of the guests takes turns pulling out their own forfeit from the hat, which contains any number from 1 to 15, for example. As soon as all the guests have learned their numbers, each participant in turn names this “his” number and begins to list everything that exists and does not exist in the world associated with this number, for example, if a guest pulled out the number 1, he can list: the saying “Alone in the field not a warrior"; catchphrase “One to One”; name any player who plays number 1; name the first element in the periodic table - hydrogen; sing a song with the number 1 “Once a year the gardens bloom” and so on, if, for example, a guest comes across the number 7, he can also remember some athlete with number 7; remember that there are 7 wonders of the world in the world; catchphrase “On 7th heaven”; the saying “Seven do not wait for one” and so on. The main thing is to use your wits and rummage through your memory, and then you can find your own unique “stories” for all the numbers: movies, songs, sayings, numbers of players and elements, catch phrases, and so on. Whichever guest can name the most facts about their number will win.

Cool table competitions for fun

Many competitions involve solving mysteries in the face of a lack of information. A person at any age loves riddles, especially if the winner receives a gift!

Tentacle forks

The essence of the game is simple: recognize an object blindly.
The guest's eyes are blindfolded, and he cannot touch the object with his hands! The player is armed with only two forks. In 2 minutes he must probe and guess as many things as possible. The organizer should select in advance ordinary household items such as a comb, toothbrush, pencil, candy, orange, etc. To make the task easier, the player can ask questions like: “Is this edible?”, “Is this a hygiene item?”, “Is it made of wood?” ? and others who can help solve the problem.

You are allowed to answer “Yes” and “No”, no more. The one who guessed more and more accurately wins. You are guaranteed to laugh until you cry!

Who am I?

Each participant has a piece of paper with an inscription attached to their forehead using tape. This can be any noun: a living creature or object, but for convenience you can limit yourself to famous characters from cartoons and movies, famous personalities. People sitting in a circle see all the inscriptions except their own.

Each player takes turns asking a leading question (“Am I an actor?”, “Am I a woman?”), to which you can only answer “Yes” or “No.” The first person to guess his character (or another word) wins. Anyone who guesses incorrectly is eliminated from the game or receives a comic punishment.

Mysterious ball

For the game, prepare a small gift, foil and short riddles. The latter are written on pieces of paper. The gift is wrapped in the first layer of foil, and a leaf with a riddle is attached to it with tape.

The procedure is repeated several times, at least 6-7. More complex riddles should be placed closer to the center, and simpler ones on top. Someone reads the inscription. The first person to guess the riddle has the right to remove a layer of foil and read the next one. The process is repeated.

Feed all your neighbors at once

Participation is accepted by guests who have neighbors both to the right and to the left, for example, the second at the table, the fourth, and so on. In front of the participants there are plates with the same contents, for example, mashed potatoes or sour cream, and each participant has two spoons in their hands: one in the left hand, the other in the right. At the “start” command, participants begin to feed their neighbors, simultaneously working with both their right and left hands. Whichever participant feeds the contents of his plate to his neighbors faster will win. A prize will also be given to the most patient and diligent “neighbor” who may have to eat from the hands of two participants at once.

How to introduce guests at a wedding

A wedding is the largest and grandest event not only in the lives of young people. At such events, it is better to divide the guests into several groups/companies, this makes it easier to hold competitions and also introduce people. Companies can be grouped by profession, hobbies, motorists, hunting/fishing enthusiasts, etc. Such mini-companies have a lot in common; they are easily included in games and competitions.

jokingly

The comic performance of the guests adds some zest to the celebration. Today, comic songs for each guest and inscriptions on badges are considered quite popular. It is also important to put on musical cuts that welcome mini companies, informing the city of arriving guests, professional activities, hobbies. Short poems work great; they quickly lift the spirits of not only the arriving company, but also all the guests.

A rather interesting option is introducing a hint or a riddle. This comic form allows guests to easily remember who is who.

Interesting

A presentation with all the regalia, kinship, first and last names is considered correct, but completely boring. Another thing is the informal presentation by the presenter, which at the same time amuses and fascinates with its meaning, removes awkwardness and allows you to easily plunge into the festive atmosphere. The presentation should be interesting, kind, without familiarity and vulgarity.

in verse

Introducing each guest in poetry is possible if there are not many guests. Then short quatrains will cause a storm of joyful emotions and will not take much time. For large wedding events this is a completely bad option.

The presenter can read out the main part of the rhyme himself, leaving one or two words for the guests to complete the presentation. The poem must rhyme, this is the basic rule. Well, good, you can’t do without it!

In conjecture

For some time, all guests are transformed into certain heroes, and which ones will be determined by the forfeits. So, everyone in turn pulls out their phantom, which indicates the name of the hero (possibly from both a real story and a fictional one). Guests do not say anything to anyone about the name of their hero, but only for a while transform into a fantasy role, for example, Jack Sparrow, Julius Caesar, Stalin, Terminator and so on. Using phrases and behavior of celebrities, guests should show the characters as believably as possible. This will result in very interesting communication at the table, and whichever guest can guess the most characters among the guests will also receive a prize.

Cool competitions for fun

There are games that explore intelligence, artistry, and creativity. Who is the most talented? Who will impress the guests the most and make them laugh until they cry? The competitions presented below can provide answers to these questions.

Dancing while sitting

Contestants sit down on stools in the center of the hall and begin to dance to catchy music without leaving their seats.

The toastmaster directs the process and names the parts of the body that should dance at a certain moment: “first we dance with our lips and eyes, then with our eyebrows, then with our hands,” etc.

The audience votes for the best chair dancer.

Princesses-non-laughs

Guests are divided into 2 teams. The first takes on the most sour, sad or serious look, and the members of the second group must take turns or all together to cheer up the “non-laughable ones.” Anyone who smiles last joins the other team.

If within a certain period of time all the “sour faces” are cheerful, their opponents win. If not, the “non-laughers” win.

Sculptor

To complete the task you need imagination and a pack of plasticine. One of the guests names a letter of the alphabet, and the competition participants must fashion an object for this letter.

The speed of sculpting and similarity to the original are assessed. Players receive 2 prizes for the “beauty of the masterpiece” and the efficiency of production!

Ten minutes of transformation

The presenter announces that 10 minutes of transformation will now begin. Each guest in turn pulls out a forfeit from a bag in which some hero or status of a person is indicated, for example, a hussar, a drunken watchman, a cheerful clown, Ivan the Terrible, and so on. Guests become familiar with their new role and begin to communicate and have fun in the appropriate style. Well, when will so many different and so interesting heroes gather at one table? And the funniest guests who can prove themselves best will receive prizes.

"Questions and answers"

One of the funny table competitions that you can arrange for a birthday is “Question and Answer”. The point is that the host approaches each of the adult guests, asking them questions. The players' task is to take out cards on which the answers are already written and say them out loud. Playing cards can be placed in a hat or box, or beautifully laid out on a tray.

Answers and questions may be different, in this matter the main thing is to use your imagination to come up with the funniest and most interesting phrases that symbolize only the birthday boy and his entourage. As an example, in this table competition at an adult’s birthday, you can use the following funny questions and answers.

Questions:
1. They say you fall in love at first sight. This is true? 2. How often do you admire yourself in the mirror? 3. Do you have conflicts with colleagues? 4. Do you repent of the things you have done? 5. Do you like to gossip? 6. Do you take bribes? 7. Have you ever swung from a chandelier? 8. How often do you show schadenfreude? 9. Can you laugh at others? 10. What are you willing to do for money?
