On the finished background, a sketch is made in white watercolor: the body, tail and fins of the future fish. To fix the design, the nail is dried again.

The next stage is color design. To do this, paint the fish’s tail with yellow varnish and make several spots on the body and fins. Then the tail is shaded with neon and orange colors and the remaining parts of the silhouette are painted, while there is no need to clearly distinguish between yellow and orange colors - the transition between them should be smooth, slightly blurred. When the fish is ready, the nail is dried again under the lamp for three minutes to fix the design.

To make the fish golden, a few strokes are made on the tail and fins using golden gel polish and the result is again fixed under the lamp.

To complete the manipulations, the fins are outlined in black, the back, eyes and tail are highlighted. Then, to give the drawing more expressiveness, white paint is applied along the same contours with a slight indentation.

All that remains is to complete the final touch of an unusual and beautiful manicure - cover with top coat and dry.

Fairytale fish on a white background. To create such a design you will need watercolors for nails in the following colors:

• sweet raspberry;
• sweet orange;
• gooseberry;
• black Orchid.

In addition, you will need white gel polish for the background.

After preparing the background base, a fish is painted on the nail plate with “orange” watercolor, adding a few strokes of “gooseberry” and “sweet raspberry”. The finished silhouette is slightly washed out with a top coat and dried under a lamp.

Having mixed “orange”, “raspberry” and “black orchid”, shadows are drawn on the fish and around it, the outline is emphasized with a thin brush and dried again under the lamp.

Having fixed the main drawing, strokes are highlighted on it again in white and black and the eye is drawn, after which the nail is dried again under the lamp.

To make the fish truly fabulous, it is finally decorated with sparkles.

Goldfish on a sea background. In this case, the following materials are used:

• white gel polish;
• gel paints in blue, bright green, burgundy, neon and orange;
• gold and brown gel polish.

First of all, the nail plate is covered with a thin layer of white gel polish and dried in a lamp. After this, blue paint is applied to the nail in a chaotic manner. Then, without cleaning the brush, add green (you can also use bright blue) strokes and dry the nail again.

When the background is ready, the so-called underpainting is done on it in white and the drawing is dried again.

The fish is painted bright burgundy with the addition of neon and orange. After drying again, a drop of gold gel polish is placed on the nail, from which gold threads are “pulled” along the tail and fins with a thin brush. All this is sent back to the lamp.
