Lyublino Estate (Palace of N.A. Durasov)
One of the brightest places for a wedding walk in the capital is the Lyublino Estate Museum. Many couples strive to capture a happy event in the atmosphere of ancient luxury and the most beautiful landscapes of the estate.
Lyublino, being a striking example of Palladian architecture, is part of the group of the Moscow United Museum-Reserve along with the Izmailovo and Kolomenskoye estates. At the head of the composition is a three-story palace house, rising above a pond on a high hill. The main entrance to the house is located on the east side. A wide staircase leads to the gallery. The central round hall, which previously served as a formal dining room, is surrounded by four symmetrical halls inscribed in an open colonnade. A theater complex has been preserved next to the main house; the fortress theater of the estate was one of the largest in Russia.
Another well-known name of the estate is the palace of N.A. Durasov. Nikolai Alekseevich Durasov was one of the richest people of his time. The famous Moscow hospitable man purchased Lyublino in 1801 and developed the estate from scratch to his liking.
Interesting fact: From the mid-19th century until 1917, dacha life flourished in the estate park. Convenient location next to the railway, ponds with baths, picturesque places - Muscovites enjoyed their holidays in Lublin. In the summer of 1866, F.M. Dostoevsky lived here; he completed his famous novel “Crime and Punishment” in the estate.
The palace was completely restored in 2005, scientific restoration work was carried out. Modern Lyublino has become a center for museum shows, excursions, children's parties, and wedding ceremonies are held there.

06/11/2013 at 16:42I filmed the on-site marriage registration at the Durasov Palace in the winter of 2013, it was interesting. We were in the palace for about 1.5 hours, the program was quite eventful, the couple was met by actors, and the guests were entertained while paperwork was completed. We had a lot of time for the wedding photo shoot, there were a lot of different rooms where you could take photos. Some are a little dark, but everything is beautiful - everything is antique, parquet floors, walls, furniture, high ceilings with drawings. For winter and bad weather - a very good option.

This summer we chose the Durasov Estate for our celebration. Everything was wonderful, we were allowed to arrive early and take pictures next to the estate. But be prepared that there will be other brides, especially if it’s a hot date!) Very beautiful estate, we did not regret our choice. BUT... one huge BUT for my husband and I... We spent a week choosing the music that was sent to us in advance (to which we would enter the wedding hall to exchange rings and congratulate the guests). This was important to us. And just when the doors opened before us, we heard Mendelssohn! It was a failure...I wanted to stop it, but my husband dragged me into the hall. We were very unhappy with this! They didn’t play any of the melody we chose. Pay 10 thousand to musicians for something that in the end we don’t like... if you please. So, if you choose this registry office, be sure to discuss this point.

A gazebo for weddings will appear in the Lyublino estate
The comprehensive improvement and landscaping of the Lyublino Estate Park, located in the south-east of Moscow, continues. Currently, work is underway to build a wedding gazebo. The couple will be able to celebrate the occasion here and hold the ceremony itself. The site will be shaped like a glass sphere overlooking the fountains in the pond. By the time construction is completed, all necessary work will be carried out on the reservoir to clean and construct three hydraulic structures.
The idea of creating such an unusual place was proposed by the youth of Moscow. The newlyweds believed that holding the holiday in a historical place, from where a stunning view of the water surface would open, would make the wedding ceremony even more solemn and memorable.

Horizontal bars and parallel bars are being installed not far from the future gazebo. Supporters of serious training on strength training equipment at the Lyublino estate will find a separately equipped workout area for these purposes. 11 sports equipment will be installed here. These simulators are also adapted for people with disabilities.
For ping pong lovers there will be tables to play.
On the other side there will be tennis courts. Their total area will be about 500 sq.m. When organizing the coating, a sand base was used, which was compacted layer by layer. A layer of concrete was applied on top of it, after which it was treated with a primer and a layer of rubber coating was laid. Next, we installed fences to keep the ball within the field. New lights were installed around the entire perimeter to illuminate the courts. Having finished with the floor, the workers began building the grandstand. Now fans, up to 200 people, will be able to watch the tournaments while sitting in comfortable chairs. The grandstand will be located between two tennis courts. Soon it is planned to lay an additional layer of rubber covering and install stands for the nets.
In winter, Muscovites and guests of the capital will be able to skate at the estate on an artificial ice skating rink with an area of about 800 square meters. m. It is planned to install locker rooms and rental pavilions near the skating rink. The construction of these pavilions has already begun. An additional locker room and rental facility will also be installed near the multifunctional sports ground, the construction of which is also in full swing.

In addition to organizing sports areas, work is underway in the Lyublino Estate park to build two stages for holding cultural events. The first one will be built to replace the old one not far from N.A.’s palace. Durasova. Its area will be 40 square meters, seven of which will be allocated for spaces for artists.
On an area of more than 400 square meters there will be a round dance floor, along the edges of which semicircular benches made of concrete with larch seats will be installed.
To date, all the old benches and trash cans have been removed, as well as the old stage. A large stage with an area of 80 square meters will occupy the central part of the park. An amphitheater with six rows will be created around it, which can accommodate about 180 people.

The historical Durasov estate makes Lyublino Park truly unique. Its area is 34 hectares, with 16 hectares of water.
This summer, trees and shrubs are being planted here, and flower beds are being formed. Previously, a lot of work was carried out in the park to demolish illegal buildings and garages. Now specialists are laying cable ducts and other communications. After all planned improvement activities are completed, there will be more paths and paths in the park, and new playgrounds will appear.
The large-scale reconstruction of the Lyublino estate should be completed in September 2021. For City Day, Muscovites will see their beloved green area renewed. The jets of three fountains will soar high above the reservoir. You can admire them during a leisurely walk along the shore. Those who like to wander in the shade of trees will be pleased with the new pedestrian paths; at night they will be sufficiently illuminated by modern street lamps.
In addition, it is planned to build a boat station.
Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Communal Services and Improvement Pyotr Biryukov.
Pyotr Biryukov, walking around the territory of the Lyublino estate, where construction is in full swing, drew attention to the wild shore on one side of the pond. He recommended that the builders leave this piece of nature untouched. This element of naturalness should give additional charm to the appearance of the coastal zone.
“We are creating a place for Muscovites in a large residential area in the southeast, where they can spend their leisure time interestingly without going far from home,” Biryukov said.
He noted that in the course of work under the “My Street” program, it is possible not only to put urban areas in order, but also to replenish the baggage of historical finds. During the years of reconstruction, more than 30 thousand artifacts were raised from the ground. Lyublino Park was no exception, where a statue supposedly dating from 1790 was found. Now it has been handed over to archaeologists for study.
The park is adjacent to Lyublinskaya Street, this is one of the streets in Moscow that is being renovated “from house to house.” Currently, large-scale work is underway on it, which is planned to be completed before September 1 of this year.
