We will get one long strip with a width of 70 cm. The length of a strip of dense fabric will be 8 m, and lace - 24 m. Let's consider all the work step by step using the example of dense fabric, and do the same with lace fabric.

Fold the cut in half widthwise and cut along the fold line. To avoid a seam in the middle of the table, you need to cut one four-meter part into two parts of 2 m each and sew it on from different ends of the whole four-meter part. You need to sew the pieces so that the edge of the fabric is located on one side. From the cut side, along the entire eight-meter length, we sew curtain braid. There is no need to tighten the tape. It will make the edge of the fabric where it attaches to the table more dense and neatly finished.

Step by step plan

The table will be covered with a white tablecloth and draped in height with fabric. We will attach the thick fabric evenly, and fold the lace fabric with one-sided folds.
